This is the official Silver version of United States Mint Proof coin Set for 2005. It contains the proof versions of the Lincoln cent, the silver Roosevelt dime, the silver Kennedy half-dollar, and the Golden Dollar featuring Sacagawea. In addition this year’s set has two new Westward Journey Nickels, honoring the bicentennials of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark expedition. These new nickels also feature a new portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse. One depicts a buffalo (bison) and the other a Western Waters ocean view.
Plus you will find the five latest state silver quarters honored in the 50 State Quarters® Program - California, Minnesota, Oregon, Kansas and West Virginia. Comes in the colored red box as pictured. All coins have the S mint mark indicating they were produced at the San Francisco United States government mint and are housed in two sealed protective plastic red holders as shown. Includes the colored box as pictured and the mint's COA (certification of authenticity card).
