Peter Rabbit gold coins were issued by the country of Gibraltar between 1993 and 1998. Each year brings a different design depicting a scene from the Tale of Peter Rabbit (The World of Beatrix Potter) by Frederick Warne. These coins are genuine official government issue, produced at the Pobjoy mint, and made of 99.99% PURE GOLD. Several sizes were produced each year. The 1/25th oz. size (smaller than a US dime) is 14mm in diameter, the 1/10th is 18mm, and the 1/5th oz is 22 mm. Each is PROOF quality mint condition.
Most of these mintages were small and our inventory is very limited.
(Note that the images you see were scanned through the plastic holder. Imperfections that appear in the scans are marks on the holder, not on the proof mint condition coins.)
